SimpleGym ("the App") is a workout tracking app for iOS. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
Account information — When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email address, display name (if provided), and a unique user identifier. This is handled by Firebase Authentication, a service provided by Google.
Workout data — The App stores the workout routines you create, completed workout sessions (including exercises, sets, weights, and reps), and any custom exercises you add. This data is synced to the cloud so it is backed up securely.
App preferences — Settings such as your preferred weight unit and default rest timer are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond the App's core functionality.
The App uses Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (both provided by Google) for user authentication and cloud data storage. These services process data in accordance with Google's Firebase privacy documentation.
No other third-party services, analytics tools, advertising frameworks, or crash reporting services are used.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. Your workout data is only accessible to you through your authenticated account.
Your data is stored in Google's Cloud Firestore infrastructure with security rules that restrict access to your authenticated account only. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Firebase.
The App does not track you across other apps or websites. We do not collect device advertising identifiers (IDFA) and do not display advertisements of any kind.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed (see below).
You can delete your account at any time from within the App by going to Settings → Delete Account. This will permanently delete:

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
